We Are Together (Thina Simunye): the film

After the success of the Thina Simunye CD comes the
We Are Together (Thina Simunye) Film. A story about grief, joy and strength of the human spirit. The life of the children of Agape, documented over the past three years. The worldwide premiere is on Sunday November 26, during the international documentary film festival in Amsterdam (
IDFA). Keep a spot open in your agenda to join us at this special occasion!
Life has not been easy 12 year old Slindile and her friends at the Agape orphanage in South Africa, but their voices ring loud and clear. As they come to terms with a series of painful setbacks, including the loss of loved ones to AIDS, their spirit stays strong and they sing their way along a journey they could only dream of. Thina Simunye (we are together) follows their remarkable story over the past three years.
