Bobbi Bear statistics 2005
Bobbi Bear recently published their 2005 statistics. These figures showed once again how desperately needed Bobbi Bear's work is. Some facts:
- Every month, between 35 and 50 cases of abuse and/or rape were taken in; all these children were treated to preven HIV-infection, they were coached through the process of filing charges, they received psychological counselling and they were prepared for a case in court.
- In 2005, the Child Safety Officers of Bobbi Bear coached 83 children during their case in court.
- A total of 379 presentations, trainings and workshops were given, about child abuse, HIV/AIDS and childrens rights.
