Coins on Saturday
The action Coins for Charity by 
Radio en TV Gelderland is going very well. Money is coming in from every direction. After five weeks the amount had risen to Fl 18.433,10 (approx. $ 10,000)! And it's getting more and more easy to support this initiative.
Until recently, coins could only be sent to the postal address in Arnhem. It quickly became possible to do this for free. And as of February 18, a big drum will be placed in different locations all over Gelderland, so you can donate your old coins.
Every Saturday, Wiepke Nautabezoekt and her show wachtwoord visit a museum, attaction or event in Gelderland. In her show, she mentions a password, enabling listeners to enter the event for free. In addition to that, she urges listeners to take 'old' coins with them and donate them to the special drum that is present at the event.
This past Saturday she was in Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem. 3599 listeners came with the assignment, a dishwashingbrush, and the password, 'tigerbread', to the zoo. Uthando was present to help.
