Sbahle Ziqubu

Sbahle's parents died at the end of 2004. The care of Sbahle was left to her grandmother, who in addition to her job took care of eight children. The elderly woman could not find a babysitter for her granddaughter, forcing her to choose between her job and taking care of Sbahle. By giving up her job she would lose her income, endangering the care of all eight children.

Instead, her grandmother opted to bring Sbahle into the Baby Home. Sbahle has recovered quite well since her arrival in January 2005; she carefully started walking in March.

Sbahle is very sick and not likely to grow very old.
