Help with your school

Would you like to do something for the children of South Africa with your class or school? You can! For example by organizing a charity walk, helping us sell our postcards, or another fun project to raise money for children affected by HIV/AIDS.

Uthando can of course help you work out your plan. Just let us know what your idea is through the contactpage, and we will make sure that you can actually make it happen.

Uthando also has contacts with several schools in South Africa. Together with your class you can write to children in these schools, telling them about your country, your family and your own school. Uthando will make sure the letters will arrive and ask the children in South Africa to write back to you. That way, you can hear from the children themselves about life in South Africa, their school and their family.

In exchange for your efforts, Uthando can give a lecture in your school so you can learn more about HIV and AIDS, about South Africa and all the children affected by the crisis. That way, you'll also learn with your project!
